DEBTS

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الَْْعْلََ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ هَََّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ أَخِي وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ أَنَّ هُ سَمِعَ أَبَا
اللََُّّ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ
ضِِهُرَيْرَةَ رَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللََِّّ صَلََّ اللََُّّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ

Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah Radhiyallaahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi wa Sallam said:
Delay in paying a debt by a person who is by the means is a form of oppression. (Bukhaari)

أَخْبَََنَا مَُُمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللََِّّ الرَّقَاشِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَ نْ سَالِِِ بْنِ
أَبِى الَْْعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِى طَلْحَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلََ رَسُولِ اللََِّّ صلَ اللَّ عليه وسلم قَالَ - -
مَنْ فَارَقَ الرُّوحُ الَْْسَدَ وَهُوَ بَرِىءٌ مِنْ ثَلاَثٍ - - «: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللََِّّ صلَ اللَّ عليه وسلم قَالَ
» وَالْغُلُولِ وَالدَّيْنِ
بَْ الْكِ نَنَّةَ : مِ دَخَلَ الَْْ

Sayyidina Thaubaan Radhiyallaahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi wa Sallam said:
Whoever’s soul leaves his body (dies) and he is free from three things will enter Jannah; from pride, from taking from the booty before distribution and from debt. (Daarimi)

In the book 'Al-Ashbāhu Wan-Nadhaair', the following statement appears:
يُؤْخَذُ لِدَانَقٍ ثَوَابُ سَبْعِ مِائَةِ صَلَاةٍ بِالْ جَم اعَةِ

"The reward of seven hundred Salaahs with Jamaa'ah (in congregation) will be exchanged (on the Day of Judgment) in lieu of (unjustly taking away another person's) one Daaniq."

A Dāniq is a silver coin equivalent to approximately half a gram of silver.
